rất + adj · adj + quá / lắm

Rất goes before an adjective: rất đẹp (very beautiful). Quá and lắm go after it: đẹp quá, đẹp lắm. Hơi means “a little” and goes before: hơi mệt (a bit tired). Use không … lắm for “not very”.

Consejo: Quá is often exclamatory: “Ngon quá!” means “So delicious!”
