“Mấy” หรือ “bao nhiêu”?

mấy + classifier + noun? / bao nhiêu + noun?

Both ask how many or how much. Mấy is for small numbers, usually under ten, and takes a classifier: Bạn có mấy anh chị em? Bao nhiêu is for any amount or when you expect a big number: Giá bao nhiêu tiền?

เคล็ดลับ: Asking the time uses mấy: Bây giờ là mấy giờ? Prices and ages of adults use bao nhiêu.
