cho + người / cho + động từ
Cho means to give: Tôi cho bạn quyển sách. It also means for (someone): Tôi mua quà cho mẹ. And it can mean to let or allow: Mẹ không cho tôi đi. The meaning follows from what comes next.
เคล็ดลับ: In polite requests, cho softens the sentence: Cho tôi một ly cà phê (Please give me a coffee).
