Nếu introduces a condition and thì introduces the result: Nếu trời mưa thì tôi ở nhà. Thì can be left out in short sentences. Dù … cũng … means even if / although: Dù mệt, tôi cũng đi.
Tips: The condition can come second: Tôi ở nhà nếu trời mưa.

If it rains, we'll stay home.
