Pattern

A giống B / A khác B / A bằng B

Giống means similar or the same as, khác means different from, and bằng means equal to. Add nhau after the subject to say two things share the quality: Hai chiếc áo giống nhau. Use như for like: Cô ấy hát hay như ca sĩ.

Tip: For not the same, put không before giống: Hai người này không giống nhau.
