Pattern
S + V + O
Vietnamese word order is Subject + Verb + Object, just like English. Verbs never change form: there is no conjugation, whoever does the action and whenever it happens.
Tip: Learn a verb once and you can use it with every subject.

I eat rice.
Anna học tiếng Việt.
Anna studies Vietnamese.
